The celebrated Monastery with its magnificent stone work was built in 1894. Today it serves as a retreat and spiritual centre. It is the home for the Carmelite Friars. The Chapel with its unique beauty and monastic simplicity welcomes all people and draws pilgrims to the Shrine of St. Thérèse - “The Little Flower”. Visitors can stroll through the twelve acres of beautiful, spacious grounds surrounding the Monastery to reflect and admire the outdoor statues, gardens and mature trees.
